DNA PORTER FAMILY FOUNDATION
The DNA (David N Angie) Porter Family Foundation is a private philanthropic organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of human life. Programs that enrich the community, help people and promote better health and wellness are considered to be of prime importance. It seeks to be responsive to programs that are innovative, yet strive to create permanent solutions to community needs.
The DNA Porter Family Foundation does not accept unsolicited grant proposals.
Because we accept only solicited proposals, an organization interested in applying for a grant needs first to send a brief letter of inquiry. The letter should succinctly describe the organization and the proposed project, specify and briefly explain its relevance to a particular DNA Porter Family Foundation funding area and initiative, and provide an estimate of the funds that would be requested.
Proposals or Letters of inquiry should be addressed to:
The DNA Porter Family Foundation
ATTN: Letter of Inquiry
1638 Headland Drive
Fenton, MO 63026
Our staff will review the letter of inquiry and respond to the organization regarding the project's relevance to our focus areas. If, based on the letter of inquiry, the project appears to match our funding criteria and priorities, the applicant may be invited to submit a formal grant proposal and budget. An applicant should not submit a formal grant proposal until such an invitation is received. We receive many more solicited grant proposals than we can fund. The invitation to submit a formal grant proposal does not mean that funding will be approved.
